- MMatthewWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy wife and I really enjoyed our dinner at Fig and Ash. The crab cake as an appetizer and the meatloaf were standouts, though honestly, the mashed potatoes with the meatloaf may have been the best bite. They were truly excellent. The brownie and ice cream was a great way to finish the meal. We are looking forward to coming back again.More infoFig & AshPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Northside•4.8
- BBrianMinneapolis - St. Paul •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI highly recommend Monterey Bay for a special occasion. The service was impeccable and the food came in generous portions and was prepared perfectly. My wife and I were celebrating Valentine's Day and our recent marriage simultaneously and were treated like royalty. Great live music in the lounge before dinner too! It is no wonder this restaurant has been a go to place in Pittsburgh for years! Bravo!!More infoMonterey Bay Fish Grotto - Mt. WashingtonPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Mt. Washington•4.7

A beautiful atmosphere (you can’t beat the view of the rivers) and great service. The food is just incredible and the portions are filling. We got the Pork Bao Buns that come with a delicious sauce, Wagyu appetizer, a variety of hand rolls with the freshest tuna we’ve ever had, and the Miso Black Cod that was incredibly flakey and came with a surprisingly well-paired slightly sweet pumpkin purée. We finished our night with some plum wine. If you’re thinking about Otaru, just do it. You absolutely won’t regret it!More infoOTARUPrice: Very Expensive• Creative Japanese• Mt. Washington•4.8

It has a nice interior with a dark red and brown gentleman’s vibe. Unfortunately I started feeling sick from the food shortly after. But otherwise I recommend this placeMore infoHyde Park Prime Steakhouse - PittsburghPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.8
- NNavalPittsburgh / Western PA •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoI have lived in Pittsburgh for 10 years and have visited Altius only 2 times for special occasions. This visit was one of them. I had a reservation and had mentioned a window seat that was honored by the team. We had the lobster gnocchi, chilled oysters and crab toast for appetizers, and skipped mains. All three dishes were delicious and well presented. For drinks, we had a red and white wine from their selection, along with two cocktails (a winter sangria and an old fashioned inspired drink called The Monks Elixir). We picked a coffee inspired desert called Coffee Break, which had coffee ice cream and mousse. Overall, we had a great time, our server was very kind and knowledgeable, and the staff made us feel comfortable. The view, food, and service were 10/10More infoAltiusPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Mt. Washington•4.9
