- CCalvinChicago / Illinois •17 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoThree of five fully enjoyed their meals. The veal, unfortunately, resembled a veal steak instead of scallopini, way too thick to fully enjoy the sauces. Still one of our favourite places when we are in Detroit.More infoLa Dolce Vita - DetroitPrice: Expensive• Italian• Detroit•4.1
- MMaryDetroit / Eastern Michigan •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a wonderful dinner at Selden Standard. Ahsley our waitress was very attentive as were the servers who brought out each dish. Explaining what each one was and confirming that there was none of the allergy items I had mention. The food was delicious and I loved the small plates so that we could try everything. Will definitley be back.More infoSelden StandardPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Detroit•4.8
- HHenryDetroit / Eastern Michigan •20 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoChristmas day dining at Tria. First time dining experience there for us. First off, the food was excellent! I had the apple muffin encrusted whitefish which was recommended by our server, Paul, and it was delicious! My wife had the filet mignon, and she said it was tender, tasty and cooked to perfection. The other two in our party also enjoyed their food. One had the whitefish and the other had the pork chop. Both said they were excellent. Our server, Paul, on the other hand seemed to be a little resentful to be working on Christmas. He was, at times, curt with us, which made our experience uncomfortable. As we were finishing up around 8:30pm, the staff started setting up all the tables in the restaurant for breakfast the following morning. It reminded me of a mess hall with the clanging of coffee cups and flatware being placed on the granite top tables. I understand that the staff wanted to go home but it really was somewhat uncouth for a $75-$100 a plate restaurant. We will probably not return. I'm not complaining about the price as we dine in that price range fairly often, but just for reference for two, our bill with tip was $216.00 and there were only two alcohol beverages on it, in case you might be thinking that the bill included a bunch of drinks.More infoTriaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Dearborn•4.4
- HHaroldMinneapolis - St. Paul •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoEverything cooked perfect. We all had ribeye or ribeye cap. Shrimp cocktail was good, big shrimp. Ordered mashed potatoes, corn, carrots, and Mac and cheese for sides. Carrots were my favorite. Drinks were awesome. Smoked old fashioned was outstanding. My only complaint was 1 steak out of 4 was served about 10 minter we were served. Manager apologized and took it off bill. Wasn’t expecting that but what a way to make up for it. Thanks Sexy Steak for a lovely Christmas Eve. dinner.More infoSexy SteakPrice: Expensive• Steak• Detroit•4.5
