Restaurants near Forest Lodge Motel

Dining here for our anniversary, we decided we need to go much more often. This is probably the best Italian food either of us has ever had. We had the grilled octopus with butter beans. The octopus was cooked perfectly, not chewy at all which is a common issue. The star of the dish though was the beans, absolutely delicious. They make their own pasta and the gnocchi I had were like pillowy bites of heaven. Just incredibly, melt in your mouth delicious. The server was knowledgeable and super friendly, the staff seemed to really work well together, and everyone was attentive.

My husband had the famous fabulous seared scallops, it was top notch! I had the steelhead and it was perfectly prepared and oh so tasty. Our service was spot on and Scott the musician was just the right mood setter. We really loved our experience.

Lovely expanded inside dining. Comfortable temperature with lots of heat sources on this rainy evening. Pressed coffee was perfect. GF pizza was delicious. Dessert was yummy. Local live music was so pleasant by Lisa & Dean. Nice evening with friends.

This was our first visit since the ownership change and it was fantastic! They have some unique food items that were amazing and both deserts we ordered were yummy! We sat by the inside fire and the ambience was great. Service and cocktails were super!
