- TTarena ElizabethDumfries and Galloway •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe Murray arms doesn’t disappoint . Service was very wondeful from start to finish . Food was amazing and served with no issues of our few requests to amend a few ingredients to suit our taste . Very accommodating to dietary needs . My husband initially passed comment on preferring the previous menu and wasn’t too keen on this one ,as does miss the basket food option , and does hope they may be added back in at some point ,however by the end of the meal he was won over . The very best curry he has had at a restaurant he has stated and will definitely be back . My prawns and duck were cooked to perfection and as always your made to feel welcome by owners and staff. One of my favourite places to dine in town 5⭐️ Would highly recommend .More infoThe Murray ArmsPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Gatehouse of Fleet•4.6

- MMarkDumfries and Galloway •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI have never been here before, we live around 30 miles away from the restaurant so it has never been on our radar. I had left it late to book somewhere for Valentine’s Day and had to look further afield. Pleased to say that we will definitely be back! The staff very extremely friendly and attentive, the set up of the room was lovely and homely feeling. And the food, wow! All 3 courses were 10/10, absolutely faultless! Good portion sizes too and all extremely tasty! Especially the satay sauce on the starter and the toffee sauce on the pudding! I can’t wait for our next visit. Thank you all for a lovely evening!More infoBuccleuch & Queensberry Arms HotelPrice: Expensive• Scottish• Thornhill•4.4
- CColinCumbria •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoTook the wife for a valentines lunch at The Pour House in Whitehaven. Booking a table was very easy and stress free. On arrival we recieved a warm and friendly greeting before being shown to our table. The menu had a great variety. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious and of high quality. The whole experience was very positive and both my wife and I have agreed that it is somewhere we will visit again in the near future.More infoThe Pour HousePrice: Moderate• Unspecified• Whitehaven•4.8

We were lucky enough to dine here for an evening meal, then back again for breakfast the next morning. The food was delicious, staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was excellent! Just what we needed for a relaxing night away! Thanks again, hope we can return again soon.More infoGatherPrice: Moderate• British• Dumfries•4.6
