- MMarthaVIPNew York City •76 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoNext Door is amazing in every way, the new renovation and menu are absolutely stunning! The new highlights of this visit were the sweet shrimp sashimi and the Koji marinated chicken. The shrimp were sweet and delicate with a lovely ocean flavor! Superb flavor, tender white and dark meat and crispy skin are what make the grilled chicken truly delicious and wonderful to eat! The crisp baby gem lettuce, shaved radish, grilled citrus and green sauce that accompany the bird make it even better! The roasted cauliflower and and Japanese sweet potato were great with the chicken, as well. The hamachi sashimi appetizer and miso soup were, as always a great start to the meal. The staff are so wonderful at Next Door are always a delight to see and talk to, thank you for being so wonderful Next Door!More infoNext Door by WegmansPrice: Very Expensive• Fusion / Eclectic• Rochester•4.8
- CCynthiaColumbus •12 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Dec 2024This was the best dining experience we have had in a long time. Everything was delicious, perfectly cooked and presented, and the service was impeccable. It is rare for a party of 7, ranging in age from 10 to 75, to be so pleased with every single dish. (We had two kinds of steak, lamb, duck, salmon, calamari, truffle fries, Brussels sprouts, and Caesar salad. Unfortunately we were too stuffed to try dessert.) We also appreciated that the noise level was low enough that we could converse without shouting. Compliments to the chef, servers, and all the staff! We will return and recommend highly to others.More infoChar Steak & LoungePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Rochester•4.4
- JJenniferNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on 13 Dec 2024A night out before a show. Most of us have never been to Grappa. We decided to give grappa, the drink, a try. Our amazing waiter, Ryan, gave us a great education about grappa. It wasn't what we anticipated, and we were still curious, so he offered us all a tasting. The food came quick and was plenty to share and take some home. It was a little chilly, but other than that, it was a great place for a fun dinner.More infoGrappa - RochesterPrice: Moderate• Contemporary Italian• Rochester•4.5
