Restaurants near Glacier Meadow Ranger Station

Amazing location with a great view of the harbour. Meal was tasty and the service was excellent! Would highly recommend. 🙂

Perfect place for breakfast on New Years day, had perfect eggs benny. The whole breakfast was very well done, and excellent attention to detail. Would absolutely dine here again. The only negative was a really slow wait to be seated although we were among the first guests to arrive on time upon restaurant opening. However I was probably only mildly annoyed because I was hungry!

Service was great. We had a table of 10 and we were served in a timely manner. The food was delicious, as always. Our one issue was finding a place for our coats. Thankfully the restaurant wasn't packed so were able to put our coats at the next table.

I'm both vegetarian and celiac and you would think I'd have trouble dining here but a true thing is that if a restaurant WANTS you to have a good experience, you can and will. I was accommodated easily by ordering a la carte from what I could see was available. Fresh grilled asparagus, a baked potato and scrumptious grilled brussels sprouts! My friend never cleans her plates and her Dilled Salmon with asparagus and garlic fried rice and asparagus were fully enjoys with a tiny amount to take home with a few sprouts. We had a great time.

The food and service were excellent. The only complaint I have is that the lights were WAY too bright. When one has an evening meal in a lovely setting - it shouldn't be necessary to wear a ball cap so the lights don't glare in your eyes. Besides the regular hanging lights which were pretty bright - there were can-lights in the ceiling with very strong bulbs in them. This really ruined the ambience. Made it feel more like we were dining in a cafeteria instead of a steakhouse. All - in all, that is the ONLY thing that made this meal deviate from being absolutely perfect. The chef even made my salmon well done - as I requested. (I know they don't normally appreciate cooking something differently than what is considered proper.) But, I REALLY appreciated that. The calamari were excellent - fresh and tender. My 'extra dirty' martini was even perfect. This is our go-to place for bringing out of town guests because we know the food and location make it a very special place to eat.
