- MMargaretPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoFirst experience at LeChon. Girls group. We ordered the bone marrow - it was the first time for all of us to have bone marrow. It was fabulous. We also had the Peruvian chicken, brisket empanadas, fried olives and almonds. All was fantastic. I highly recommend the bone marrow. The wait staff were the best. Very attentive and helpful. Even the Chef took a picture of us outside when we left and asked us about our experience. Overall a wonderful experience. I highly recommend.More infoLeChonPrice: Moderate• South American• Southwest Portland•4.8
- BBobSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had the Peking duck experience, as December is Duck Month at Departure. The duck was beautifully presented before the final stage of cooking to crisp the skin and apply the final layer of glaze. The meal consisted of duck bone broth, the Peking duck with thin pancakes, cucumbers, green onions, hoisin sauce, pickled cumquats, duck fried rice, and duck fat ice cream with sesame brittle and berry sauce. The meal was delicious. There is a huge sale list, but we opted for the Lillet All Day and 75-ish cocktails. A glass of Domaine du Petit Bonhomme went perfectly with the duck. Our server, Hailey, was great.More infoDeparture Restaurant and LoungePrice: Moderate• Contemporary Asian• Downtown•4.4
- SStephenPortland / Oregon •18 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis is a REAL Italian Restaurant. My wife and I only know of a few in the area and this is one of them. Just because a restaurant serves pizza and pasta does not make it an Italian Restaurant. This one has a menu featuring many real Italian dishes including Italian desserts and Italian cocktails and wine, even Grappa! The service was prompt and courteous, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was wonderful. We arrived an hour before our reservation but was promptly seated anyway. I really don't understand why anyone would give this restaurant less than 5 stars. We found free street parking right in front on the restaurant. But if you can't find street parking, there are two pay parking lots right across the street. We are adding this place to our list of favorite Italian Restaurants and I'm sure will be returning many times in the future.More infoMama Mia TrattoriaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary Italian• Downtown•4.3
- SSarahPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoWe came here to celebrate my dad’s birthday. We had a good table with a decent view of the city. Our first waitress wasn’t so kind but that didn’t bother us. We noticed a window seat open up and it had been about 30 mins so I asked the host if we could move and she said “ YES!”. After that the evening got even better. Our waitress was fun and so kind! The view was absolutely amazing and the Christmas parade ships were out! We had great food, great service and wonderful experience!More infoPortland City GrillPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Downtown•4.5
