- JJanisVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •41 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoFantastic Saturday lunch. The staff opened the door for me early because it was raining. He gave excellent recommendations. The pace was perfect for my friend and I to catch up and make it to the Placer Theatre Ballet on time for the 1 pm performance. It was excellent. I had the shortrib grilled cheese sandwich that came with crispy perfectly seasoned french fries. My friend had the blue-cheese tomato soup. Super tasty.More infoMonkey CatPrice: Moderate• American• Auburn•4.6
- AAnneSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis was our second time eating here, both times during the Victorian Christmas Festival. To say it was busy would be an understatement! They were well organized, and our server, Lila, was attentive and friendly. In our group of four, everyone enjoyed their meal. We started with some salads and onion bread, which is very yummy and dense. I had the crispy salmon with the croquettes. The salmon was indeed crispy, yet tender and cooked to a perfect doneness. Others in our group had the chicken parmesan and the beef wellington, both of which were thoroughly enjoyed. Portion sizes seemed reasonable, and no one in our group left hungry! We were a bit disappointed that the full menu was not available this year, but that's understandable given it's particularly busy during the festival. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation time and were turned away, told to return at the exact time instead. That seemed pretty unnecessary since for a 5:30 reservation the table would have been available already (and we were planning to start with cocktails). Overall, though, we enjoyed our meal and plan to return the next time we're in town.More infoFriar Tuck's Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• American• Nevada City•4.3

- OTOpenTable DinerPortland / Oregon •2 reviews5.0Dined on 29 Aug 2024Again! Best place in Auburn for relaxing outdoor dining. We appreciate the low key and (sort of) quiet ambience. (There’s not much to be done about the freeway noise, but we’re glad there’s no loud music.) We ordered flatbread pizzas and salad, and that kind chef, Adil, once again topped out dinner with a platter of fresh fruit. We LOVE this place.More infoThe TerracePrice: Expensive• American• Auburn•4.8
