Bienvenidos, y'all! Inspired by long days on the Gulf, late nights on the ranch and the colorful creations of our abuela, our family's Kitchen & Cantina showcases the rich foods and traditions we grew up with on both sides of the border. Nothing matches the flavor of food grilled over mesquite. Try wood-fired Texas quail swaddled in homemade tortillas, jalapeno rellanos stuffed with house-made chorizo and sizzling, family-style parrilladas - huge mixed platters of wild game and fresh vegetables, topped with pico de gallo and queso fresco - a unique spin on Houston barbeque. Our days begin roasting chilies and tomatoes, rolling fresh tortillas in our bakery and wringing every last drop of Ruby Red grapefruit for cocktails. We hand-grind our own sausage and hand-trim every ounce of meat in our butchery, then anoint it with the savory seasonings and marinades we've honed over generations. A few margaritas on our patio and you've found your new casa sweet casa.

Had dinner here with my wife and friends. This is an outstanding restaurant. The service was exceptional, the food was very well prepared and the drink/spirits options were plentiful. The ambiance could be a bit more ‘intimate,’ but the noise levels were acceptable and distance between seating areas was reasonable. I felt the pricing was just very slightly high, but, overall a very good experience which I would recommend.

Excellent Restaurant, Perfect for San Valentine's dinner. Food and service were outstanding (5 stars). San Valentine's Dinner had a fixed menu with perfect selections of 4-5 courses and the option to do wine pairing. We loved the food and the fusion of flavors included in all the things that we tried. The best thing I tried was the Oyster and the Beef, but everything was delicious and a wonderful experience on the first bite.

We went here for V-Day and it was really busy, we had to wait for about 20 minutes to be seated even though we were running 10 minutes late... with that being said our overall experience was great! The Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly! My wife liked the Oysters and the Snapper. This place is great for an event or special occasion but is definitely a femine atmosphere.

I hope this place stays around longer than el teimpo , Ninfas , Lupe’s etc. this place is pure perfection. I have been 3xs already. Blanco sangria is my favorite ! The margaritas are amazing. My favorite appetizer is the arepas. We’ve had a few plates. All so yummy. I mean last night we had salads. I’m convinced no one can do a tasty salad like Mexican sugar. Everyone do yourself a favor and try this place.

A Culinary Experience Beyond Compare – Chef Tristen Epps Delivers a 12/10 Feast Attending A Culinary Journey was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment the first bite hit my palate, I knew this was going to be an unforgettable evening. Chef Epps masterfully wove together history, culture, and flavor, transforming each dish into a powerful story of resilience, influence, and innovation. My favorites were: the Carolina Gold Rice Porridge—luxurious, comforting, and layered with the smoky umami of mussels, charred Brussels sprout leaves, and the rich heat of duck ham shito. And the Ricotta Cassava Dumplings? A true masterpiece. Delicate yet bold, with egusi butter and smoked turkey creating a depth of flavor that felt both nostalgic and completely new. This wasn’t just a meal. It was a masterclass in storytelling through food, a love letter to the flavors and traditions that have shaped global cuisine. Chef Tristen Epps is a culinary genius, and this was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. If you have the chance to attend, do not hesitate. 12/10—absolutely phenomenal.
