Iron Hill in Newtown has not been good for quite some time. However, last night was great. The menu seemed different and the food we ordered was good. Hopefully this is the first step toward them getting better 

We were there for a Valentine’s date night and the place was decorated so nicely. The tables were very close together but it was manageable. Our waiter Steven was great. The Burrata appetizer was delicious. I had the linguine with clams and loved it. My husband had the filet and ate every last bite. It was a delicious meal. I would highly recommend this place.

From the moment we walked in and were greeted to the time we left - we had the ultimate first class dining experience! Our waiter Damon was super friendly and engaging - quickly asking us if we were celebrating a special occasion! It was my father’s 81st birthday! After he took our drink order he came back and decorated our table with happy birthday confetti!!! The thought was so nice and unexpected. It made my dad smile and we really enjoyed the moment. Damon was quick to take our orders and answer some of our silly questions! Service was excellent and the food was great! Damon then brought over dessert along with a special plate that said Happy Birthday in chocolate with 2 sweet desserts and a candle!! We all sang happy birthday and my dad was thrilled. It was the perfect night!! We all agreed that the experience was perfection and that is was Damon who truly made the difference! We know if we come back again - we want to sit in Damon’s section. As always, a wonderful dining experience. Excellent food always and a great value. I dined there twice last week and look forward to my next visit.
