Perfect evening at the Beach House. Dinner was delicious, the beef filet and mahi mahi were prepared perfectly and the two kids meals were just right, including a delicious birthday surprise dessert for our 8 yr old grandson. The location of our table on the lanai was perfect for conversation and watching a perfect Kauai sunset complete with green flash! Kevin G was an exceptional server. We will be back!

I'm a resident and this is my absolute favorite restaurant. THE STEAKS. No matter what cut, it never disappoints. The staff is always inviting and full of Aloha. Plus, the environment is old school classy with distinct island culture. We always have a cup of their delicious coffee with the banana cream pie, every visit. A perfect place to bring our visitors from mainland. It's an island treasure.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Naisla Kitchen & Cocktails! The food was excellent, the space is lovely, the cocktails were on point, and overall the service was great. We ordered the Local Greens salad, the Italian Ramen, and the Short Rib entrée. All were beautifully prepared and flavorful. The Short Rib was the favorite for sure! If I had one little gripe about the menu, it would be that I’d like to see more gluten free options on the menu. Offering a gf pasta would really open up more possibilities for those who need them! There were a few hiccups with service - I believe they were quite understaffed on the evening we visited, and one of the servers who was helping us wasn’t quite “on it”. But we received excellent service from someone else who was seemingly helping out with everything she possibly could - I believe she was either the manager or owner. This woman was everywhere and she was doing it all with grace and excellent hospitality. She made up for some of the longer waits and then some. All things considered, we enjoyed our evening at Naisla and would definitely return next time we’re on the island!

Our server was pretty bad. Very slow and a long time before she would reappear. We ordered our beverages and it took about 15 minutes to get them. We got our appetizers about 20 minutes later. She asked my wife if she wanted another drink and my wife said yes. It was at least another 20 minutes before got her second drink. I was done with mine by the time she returned and, plopped the drink my wife's drink on the table and ran off. The server didn't come by to check on us. Some time later they brought our dinners and another drink for me without me asking. The server asked if we wanted dessert and we said no thanks. She brought the check and said she "I didn't charge for the drinks." I don't really understand why but ...... The food was great. I do intend on returning for dinner on our trip next year but I'm going to request the older gentleman with the big white beard. He verbally explains the menu to his tables and seemed to be everywhere all the time.

Chef Mitch dedicates his time and energy to ensuring you are receiving the best service and the highest quality of food. This man is a one man show, and his service and cooking was incredible. Everything is so meticulously crafted and the delivery of food is so thought out. He also has his own farm in Kaua’i so it is truly farm to table. He respects the food of Kaua’i and it is shown throughout the entire course. Thank you Chef Mitch for providing such a wonderful experience during our stay, we will be back for the fish course in the future!
