- JJamesvipTampa / Central Florida West •33 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe Pearl is a great alternative for dining at Water Street that provides more value than some of the high dollar fine dining stops in close proximity. A little less formal than some of the other options, the food and service are excellent and consistent. The menu is interesting. The newly added Snapper dinner was awesome. Keep up the good work Pearl people and we’ll keep coming back!More infoThe Pearl – TampaPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Tampa•4.7
- DDavidvipTampa / Central Florida West •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoSteak Tartare was really good, the cream soda Negroni tasted like cough medicine - but the other cocktails were superb and strong. The shrimp was good but wished for more biscuits instead of two small ones. The burger was lacking on the pickled onions and the lettuce made it taste like the Big Mac lettuce. The sauce and buns were good as well as the patties.More infoBoulon BrasseriePrice: Expensive• French• Tampa•4.8
- SStevevipTampa / Central Florida West •63 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWent for Thanksgiving dinner. Busy but the wait was acceptable. Once we checked in it went very quickly. Our waiter was Ben. Very friendly and professional. Ben explained the menu and the variety of choices. He was attentive checking back in reasonable intervals. Andrew was our server and every bit as professional as Ben. They work well as a team. Aside from the wonderfully enticing regular menu which was difficult to pass on, we went with the Thanksgiving menu. It was after all Thanksgiving. The turkey was tender and moist with a nice cranberry sauce. The stuffing was very good as was the butternut squash puree. There were also two crusted lamb chops. The food was excellent. To sum it up, the Meat Market is a great experience. Not only great food, but you're in a trendy neighborhood, great for shopping, people watching. When combined with Ben as the server, it makes for a very memorable evening.More infoMeat Market TampaPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Tampa•4.7

- SsydneyTampa / Central Florida West •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoHad a wonderful time at Jackson’s celebrating a coworker’s retirement. The friendly hosts seated us immediately even though we were a little early for our reservation, and we got a great spot outside overlooking the bay. Our server was awesome; very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Rarely had to ask for anything as he was always right around the corner already bringing it our way. I’m sorry that I don’t remember his name, but he really was great. We had sushi, grouper bites and coconut shrimp for appetizers and they were all perfect. The sweet sauce used to dress one of the rolls (can’t remember the name of the roll but it was lightly fried, with crab) was TO DIE FOR. So good! For entrees I had the special of pecan crusted salmon over brussels and sundried tomatoes, the sweet green sauce was the perfect compliment to the dish and if it wasn’t frowned upon I would have licked the plate clean. My coworkers ordered the lobster po’boy and the Tuscan chicken and we were all very impressed with both the quality and the plating. As a first time diner at Jackson’s, I have to say I was very happy with the experience. The restaurant interior was beautiful and so was the outdoor seating area. The only negative part was that there was a good bit of construction being performed right near the building so at times it got a little loud (and there was a bumblebee that reaaaally wanted my espresso martini lol), but it is what it is. Thank you to the wait staff, hosts, and the cooks/Chef for providing a 5-star experience. I’ll definitely be back with more friends!More infoJackson's Bistro Bar & SushiPrice: Expensive• American• Tampa•4.5
