Restaurants near Harry P Schmidt Park

My husband and I were there on a Thursday evening and with the impending rain and early hour we were dining, the restaurant was on the quiet side. The gentleman who served us was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. The food was beautifully prepared, inventive, and tasted good. I had their famous apple dessert which is something you'd see winning Star Baker on The British Bakeoff. The food is on the pricey side considering the portion size, but this is definitely a high quality place. My only other suggestion would be that they turn up the heat slightly as it was on the chilly side. Recommend for a special occasion.

It was my first visit for dinner, after having had brunch once. We found the small plates, entrees and everything to be outstanding. The service was excellent as well. They did a very creative remodel of the former movie theater lobby space to create this two-level restaurant. It is on the pricey side, but definitely worth visiting.

Excellent service, excellent selection of food and aviance

Service awesome food was great and the house margaritas were the best we had in a while we lived in Hughson for two years and this was are first time and we were very happy with everything see you again soon

Tesoro is a great spot, but I’d never classify them as “fine” anything. Typical Mexican food plating and flavors, nothing stands out on the food nor cocktail menu. However, great food and a fair price. 4.1/5
