Outstanding experience, tuna appetizer is excellent

I have been wanting to try 1609 for a while. It did not disappoint. My meal started with bread which was delicious. The flavored butter was really incredible. I ordered the scallops, mashed potatoes and carrots. The scallops came on top of asparagus. The asparagus was good and the scallops were cooked perfectly. There was crab on top as well as a bernaise type sauce. There were five large scallops so you won’t leave hungry. Carrots and mash potatoes were tasty as well. I finished with the crème brûlée which was creamy, delicious and topped with fresh fruit. My server was attentive without hovering. My total bill with a 25% tip was $125.00. It was worth it. I plan on going back to share this stellar dining experience with my daughter.

Nice staff good food clean establishment very friendly and fun

We have been to Charbroil before and had better experiences with our previous visits. I'm not saying that the food or service was bad. This time, they just seemed a bit more rushed. The quality of the food was not as good as our previous visits either. Several of the meat choices had more fat and grissel than I thought they should have. The grilled shrimp were good but a bit tougher than they should have been. Might have to give it a bit more time before our next visit.
