Restaurants near Hillsboro Covered Bridge

Never had a bad meal or drink here. Enjoyed brunch today for my mom’s birthday. Shawn was an excellent server, keeping everyone from my Dad to my 6 yr old daughter happy :) Breakfast tacos, crab cake benedict, crème brûlée French toast, and kids brunch all tasty. Their seasonal mimosa was perfect and the espresso martini could have been dessert all on its own. Can’t wait to come back.

We drove down to Lexington from Cincinnati for a day of Christmas shopping and stopped by Carson’s for brunch. The food was beyond delicious and the restaurant is beautiful. Our waiter, Aidan, was polite, attentive, and gave us great recommendations on menu options. I told my husband I would like to join them again in January for my birthday dinner and we cannot wait! Definitely recommend!

Great food, reminiscent of many of the traditional family Thanksgiving dinners throughout my life. Everything was as good as I could have hoped, especially the mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, turkey and perhaps the best ham I have ever eaten.

Great service. Very large salads. Sushi was interesting. Ruby roll had steak and lobster in it which we’ve never seen. The chili rub accompaniment “sauce” for the steak was a new one too and excellent.

There is nothing to say except that Carson's is pure perfection! My husband and I took our son out to dinner just to enjoy a night out together. We started with drinks. I ordered the spiced pear daquiri...superb! My son and I shared the 20 oz. ribeye and mac and cheese and my husband ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. All delicious! The beautiful atmosphere made the evening truly enjoyable! I can't wait to go back!
