Restaurants near Historic Carson House

Our experience overall was a great one! It was a busy night and we were seated by the restrooms and the kitchen which made us a little uncomfortable, they were understanding and got us another table which was much better! The service was brilliant. It was easy to see that everyone who worked there, thoroughly enjoyed their work which makes the entire experience that much more enjoyable for the diners. Rob recommended the perfect wine pairings, he understood exactly what we were looking for! We had the bread basket, beef carpaccio, the 8oz steak with salsa verde and the bucatini carbonara. The butter in the bread basket was brilliant, we couldn’t get enough! (If they bottle it and sell it, we will buy it). And the steak salsa verde left such a great taste in my mouth, I didn’t want to sully it with anything else. The carbonara while good was a little too heavy for our liking. Maybe a smaller portion of something that heavy would go down better.  We then finished the meal with the tiramisu which was just right. We will definitely go back to try more!

We had the petite filet Valentines day . The steaks were perfectly cooked and seasoned. We had creamed spinach and mashed potatoes with the steals. Both sides were really tasty. we had a flourless chocolate espresso cake as a perfect dessert. It was decadent and rich. The service was good to great and the atmosphere was romantic and upscale. It's an expensive meal but the execution of all the meal components makes it worth the price. Ruth's Chris remains our favorite special occasion restaurants.

Food, staff and atmosphere was wonderful. Price they went up on price of Buffett along with parking. Very expensive but good for special occasions.

Started out the night with a VERY nice welcome. The server arrived at our table with a smile and quickly took our drink order. When she came back with our drinks, she explained some of the options on the menu. She wasn’t rushing us she just wanted us to make a great choice. Because of her explanation, my wife and I ordered something different than our original selections. The food came out hot and tasty. The server and restaurant were very busy but we never felt rushed or the time wasn’t too long in between courses. PERFECT pace. PERFECT food! PERFECT service. Did I mention everything was PERFECT?

Great meal from a gem in Ashville. From bar service to desert this was a fine evening thanks to a great wait staff and chef. Seafood risotto was well prepared and presented with scallops and trout. Steak tartare app was fantastic. 5 stars!
