My first time at V&F. Staff and service was outstanding. I had the salmon BLT and an Irish coffee. BLT was delish! Freshly made and side option of the southwest Caesar salad was perfect. Looking forward to a next visit and trying some seafood.

I have been to Majestic many times and thoroughly enjoy it. During our last visit, we have a tasting menu, which consisted of four small courses. This was absolutely delicious and allowed us to try smaller portions of dishes we'd not otherwise get a chance to sample. My favorite is the dates stuffed with goat cheese and the Zucchini Pesto with Fusilli. The restaurant also has a great assortment of cocktails, wine, beer and other spirits. The ambiance is pleasant and I love the restaurant's rich history. Service was a little slow, but I appreciate the fact that the restaurant is not in a hurry to turn tables.

I brought out-of-town friends I hadn’t seen in a long time and wanted a memorable experience. We had the best food and terrific service! The Chef is excellent. We ordered mussels, small filet, pork chop, and gnocchi along with sides. Just delicious. Our servers, Brenna, Will, and Limburg were all attentive without being intrusive. We felt spoiled! What a terrific experience. Thank you.

Since the closure of la-bergerie in Old town in 2016 which operated for 40 years there has not been an upscale elegant French restaurant in old town Alexandria. La Refuge has wonderful food but it’s more casual and very small and cramped. Josephine checked all the boxes, elegant decor, great wine list and wonderful food. The subtle lighting and dark wood decor made it a wonderful place to celebrate the anniversary of our first date that led to a long marriage. We will be back.
