Restaurants near Howard Johnson Lima

My mother, my sister, my daughter, and I went to Mancy’s to celebrate Christmas as a gift from my uncle. He had recommended the place and I’m so glad he did! We started with holiday cocktails while we waited for our reservation time, then moved to a table. We started off with the crab stuffed mushrooms and crushed garlic potatoes and they were divine. The steaks were tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding. It definitely made a night to remember. This is a fantastic place to treat yourself.

Had a nice dinner at the Sweetwater Chop House. Our second visit. I chose the Wagyu Steak and it was cooked to my tastes. Started the dinner with the Brussels Sprouts. I do not eat Brussels Sprouts anywhere except here. The sauce it is cooked in makes them palatable. No dessert this trip, but I would like to make a separate visit just for dessert. The others in my party had no complaints on the dining experience. Made reservation but was not necessary.

Loved my cocktails & garlic knots. Great service. Will stop in again when in town.

My wife and I both agreed that it was a dining “experience”. We search for venues that will “surprise and delight” us. Silas Creative Kitchen did both. Thanks again for making our special occasion a memorable evening. We will be back soon.

Bailey was great server. Dessert menu is upgraded and the chocolate wave was even better than previous purchases.
