Restaurants near Imperial Calcasieu Museum

Visited for an after holiday celebration with family from out of town. Had an absolutely amazing waiter (Ben) he went through all of the menus and offered incredible suggestions! 100 out of 10 experience, can’t wait to go back and recommend the restaurant to our friends in the future!

Glad to stay at GNLCLA. We walked from our room to the restaurant. Despite the slight shower of rain we made it over early and sat in the lobby for a few minutes. A hostess checked on us but we were in no hurry for our 7pm res. We sipped our wine, checked out the golf shop, and finally made our way in to the place. The hostess tried to sit us in the middle of the room but we asked her to seat us near the indoor fire place / pit. YAY!... Our waitress was Brook and she was good. Friendly and patient. We had a drink. Enjoyed bacon wrapped shrimp. The bread basket was really good, interesting variety, and not too filling. We split a meal. Enjoyed the wedge salad, prime rib 10oz, and a dessert. I was able to use $25 reward. It was a good experience.

The food in Lake Charles was amazing. We don’t dine anywhere else because no one is better. Our waitress was also very good and so attentive to our needs.

Our server Julie was so gracious and knowledgeable of the kitchen and the orders we requested. Our appetizer came in a timely manner and our steaks were cooked to perfection. It was the icing on top of our holiday stay! Thank you Julie for being a wonderful server!

our annual christmas eve date night and overall perfect festive crowd but quaint at the same time the server couldn’t have been any better nice evening just cant believe i didnt take a picture
