Restaurants near Indian Ranger Station

I love the ambience of the Blue Boar Inn. We have now been there twice. When I went there the first time, I knew I needed to bring my friend. The second time we went was just as lovely. Highly recommend if you love that Bed N Breakfast Inn feel.

The salmon was fantastic! Christmas trees and decorations made for a nice ambiance, but the carpets hadn’t been vacuumed, so it took a bit of the shine off. Our dinner server had difficulty with speaking English, which made ordering frustrating. Our breakfast server, however, couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Tip: the kids Mac ‘n Cheese is really an adult dish. Our three-year-old wouldn’t eat it.

Of course the time to get a view from the Lakehouse is summer when the sky is lit. Unfortunately we dined during winter and couldn't see the lake at all however, the ambiance of the room was terrific and the food was excellent. Above all the service and particularly Andrew were terrific. We will dine there again and again.

We love the crispy chicken thighs, and Chrissy is a very attentive server!

Food was good. Staff good but a little slow on taking care of table. We came on a Friday night and the place was almost empty. Nice bar.
