- BBeckyJacksonville / Northeast Florida •15 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAll the food we ordered was very good. Our only issue was to get any bread at all for the table, it was charge of over SIX dollars. It was a baguette. When I ordered mussels, I was told it came with no bread ( steamed mussels always come with bread) and that if I wanted any bread with it, the charge was $4 extra. REALLY? What's the deal with the bread? For such a nice restaurant with high end prices, a little "free" bread goes a long way for a good customer experience. NONE of the higher end restaurants in this area charge extra for that. Having said all this, I DO want to commend the waitress who was fun and attentive. She did a great job and made the overall experience a big plus.More infoSteamersPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Kitty Hawk•4.9
- JJoshVIPWashington, D.C. Area •8 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur dinner overlooking the Sound at Aqua was amazing. The warm bread, several appetizers, steaks and finally the peanut butter pie. Literally one of the best desserts my wife and I have ever had. The service in particular Gwen were top notch as well. Can’t wait to go again the next time we are in Duck.More infoAqua Restaurant and Spa - Duck, NCPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Duck•5

- BBrianVIPLos Angeles •30 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoIt was our first trip to the Outer Banks, and we went to the Village Table and Tavern for my wife's birthday. We had a wonderful server, a perfect table by the water, and we really enjoyed our meal. We shared the Chicken and Waffles appetizer. It was very good. The tenders were a little rubbery (probably because they were frozen); however, the breading on the tenders was INCREDIBLE and the maple syrup was fabulous. The waffles were also very good. So, an 8/10 there. Then, we split the Roasted Half Chicken with amazingly good mashed potatoes, and we subbed the green beans for the broccoli au gratin. The chicken was good, but the broccoli was out of this world. We ordered an additional side of it, just to have some more. So, a 10/10 on the entree and additional side of broccoli au gratin. My wife was tired, so we didn't do a dessert for her birthday. It was a great experience, and we will definitely return on our next trip to the OBX.More infoThe Village Table and TavernPrice: Expensive• American• Duck•4.7
