Restaurants near Island Spirits Distillery

Eating in the dome was a new experience for us, so we didn't know what to expect. We absolutely loved it, and enjoyed a romantic dinner. The 5 course dinner was a hit as was the wine pairing. The food was amazing, and a nice treat for Christmas dinner.

We had the perfect Christmas Eve buffet. A lovely quiet table in the lower section as requested. The selections from the buffet were excellent…everything we could have wished for and more..well presented, hot, and delicious. The desserts were very festive and tasty. We were given a little gift of sweets upon departure..a very nice touch. Priced well…excellent value.

The overall experience was very good. The only thing I would comment on is once we got our food, the server never came back to see if we needed anything. One of the people at my table wanted to order a glass of wine to have with his dinner but couldn’t get the attention of the server. In all fairness, it was quite busy when we were there but a quick check would have been good. A few more gluten free potions would be great as well.

Food was delicious! Kids were happy, grandparents were happy! Staff was friendly. Decor was really nice, quality tables and chairs and beautiful space. The only thing we don’t like is that you have to leave your table and stand in line to order and pay. It’s really takes away from the experience because one person has to leave the conversation etc, and when I go out for dinner I just want to relax and not have to stand in line. That said we have been twice and it’s not really deterring us from going, we just wish they would change that aspect!
