Restaurants near Johnson City Feed Mill

Wow, all decked out for the holidays, the place looked gorgeous. Bartender superb. Brussel sprouts, fried potatoes, meatballs all excellent. Wife loved her filet steak and kitchen was kind enough to sub potatoes for the usual pasta. Bone-in steak was massive and perfectly cooked. Everyone loved their meal. Wine service is however lacking - limited choices (unless there was an additional wine list?) And we did order a dessert wine by the glass that never showed. We asked and the waiter left again and then returned to say it never showed because they were out. How did not one come tell us? Another wine - not remotely similar was eventually offered much later. Restaurant was not busy on a cold Tuesday night. We love this place and will come back again.

Went with a small group for holiday lunch and had a great time. Food was excellent as always, Garrett was a terrific server and the environment was great for our group to celebrate. Thanks again!

I rarely take the time to write reviews but this one really deserves it. We hail from San Francisco so we weren't expecting much from an Italian restaurant in Austin. We were blown away. We ordered the snapper and special pasta (chicken filled ravioli.) The snapper was cooked on their plancha and retained it's moistness. The pasta is on the top five list of pastas I have ever had in my life. I think they must have used smoked chicken from their wood burning grill. We weren't in the mood for beef, but wish we were as everything that was coming off that grill looked over the top good. We were fortunate enough to be sat at the kitchen counter (or they accidentally gave away our table for 2 and had to seat us there) so we had a front row seat to the magic that was coming out of the kitchen. This is kind of a nerdy comment, but the expediter gets an A+. They had a very large party upstairs (like 8 family style dishes at a time) and some how he was able to get all the other food out in a timely manner.

Do the Churrasco Mixed grill for 2. Great beef, shrimp, fried lobster tail & yummy sauces. Wedge salad the best I've had. Tammy was a great wait person. Dined 4pm to catch sunset during CST. Don't miss this place. Been here several times & consistently great food, service & ambiance.
