Arrived from Idaho, Oregon and Bellingham to celebrate a 70th Birthday. Walked right in and sat down for our 5 o’clock reservation for 4. Delicious clam dip and chips starter. Ordered large sea scallops over creamed corn (delicious and just the right amount), seafood salad (also a perfect size, but a tad salty), Muscovy duck and braised short ribs. Both had an alternative sauce because the advertised sauce Dixie Bourguignon wasn’t ready yet and it was an excellent substitution (took some of each home). We received more of the wine we ordered as compensation for the inconvenience and both our server Tea H and the maitred were very apologetic and enjoyable to talk with. Birthday beignets with Bourbon ice cream and sauce (complimentary and plenty for all) and an order of vanilla bean cheese cake we shared also. Thanks for making the celebration so special .I’ve never had a bad time here, totally worth the cost.

Great views, wonderful service and food was outstanding. We went for my boyfriend’s birthday and they had confetti on table and a signed bday card for him! Brought him out a slice of the most amazing cake with a candle. Made the whole experience really great.

We had an amazing dining experience! We started with the crab cakes as an appetizer, and although we got the dinner portion, it was so delicious, perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside. The calamari was also fantastic, crispy and perfectly seasoned. For the main course, we tried the seafood fettuccine pasta, which was rich, creamy, and packed with fresh seafood. The steak and scallops were just as impressive cooked to perfection, juicy, and full of flavor. Everything was well-seasoned and beautifully presented. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a top-notch meal!

Our overall dining experience was good. There was a confusion on the price of the meal. I reserved 6 seats for dinner on Valentine’s Day through Open Table. The amount was $25 per person. No where on either Open Table’s or Holy Water’s website did it indicate that the $25 was only to hold the reservation and the price would be adjusted when the bill came. Obviously $25 would have been a very good price for the dinner but having to pay $44 more per person was a bit of a shock! Also, because our reservation was for 5:30 and others were coming in at 7:00, we were asked to finish up and leave to allow for the next guests to arrive. We understood the situation but had to swallow down the rest of our drinks quickly which seemed a little tacky. All in all, the food and service were good. For future reference, I feel both Open Table and restaurants should indicate that the amount charged to hold the reservation should be displayed as only a holding fee and not the entire cost of the meal to avoid confusion in the future.
