Oysters were amazing. french onion soup was ok, but nothing special. I ate FILET MIGNON and it was really good. My husband had STEAK FRITES and said it was nothing special, not going to eat it next time. For the desert we ordered PROFITEROLES it was tasty and alot! Wonderful service and the food was excellent. There are more favorites for me to order now: The coal fired I dishes really shine. The burger is always consistently great, and their avocado and shrimp salad is my favorite. The mushroom lasagna I ordered today is my new favorite. So light and elegant but so much depth of flavor. Scallops are always the best - my daughter who orders scallops everywhere she goes said that it was one of the best that she has had. The chicken was not done completely a small part of it was still a bit raw, and the swordfish was a bit tough. But all the sides were perfectly done. Hash browns and sweet potatoes are a must. The carrots were packed with flavor. The service was excellent.

Christmas Eve dinner at OEG is a 24-year tradition for my daughter and me. As always, the food was awesome. My daughter and I were quite surprised and disappointed by the lackluster greeting and overall experience when we walked in. The word "dismissive" comes to mind. Because our previous experiences were fabulous, I will look at this visit as a "one-off" one. Merry Christmas and a Happy 2025!!!

Great atmosphere and delicious food! Almost canceled our 9:30 pm reservation but so glad we didn’t. The place was packed but the service was efficient. We had both kinds of gnocchi, vegetable frites, Caesar salad and fusilli with three kinds of meat- it was all excellent!

We love eating farm table, food, and the wonderful service. However, the noise level was extremely loud with the tables being so close overhearing everyone’s conversation and loud talking all at the same time you can barely hear the servers. Food and service was great outside of the noise level.
