Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.     We have been many times to The Barrel Inn. There’s always a great choice of menu at reasonable prices. The food is fabulous. The staff are lovely and pleasant, good ambience. On a fine clear day the views are to die for at the front of the pub. Just is my favourite place to eat.

    Excellent food- had beef roast, pork loin and fish n chips! Great staff, pleasant and efficient but did not rush us at any time. Gorgeous festive decorations and atmosphere. Will definitely return! Thank you for a lovely Sunday lunch.

    Our third visit having previously tried a breakfast and evening meal we opted for lunch. We had two battered fish sandwiches, ham hock and a Christmas Caesar sandwich all served with a side of fries. Everyone enjoyed their meal and I had the latter. My turkey was hot, tender and not dry, delicious. A nice proportion of Caesar salad to bread ratio on a lightly toasted roll with an accompanying side of crunchy fries. With 3 breakfast teas and an americano coffee the bill for four was a little over £58. Given the quality on offer I would advise booking as not surprisingly we only just got a table at 1pm. Highly recommend
