- TTimothyGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAs always, the Coast Guard House lived up to its excellent reputation for outstanding food, service, and friendliness. The menu options and wine choices are also excellent. Very highly recommended. It also happens to be a very historic building that was repurposed very appropriately into the excellent restaurant that it is and continues to be.More infoThe Coast Guard HousePrice: Moderate• Seafood• Narragansett•4.7
- CCatherineRhode Island •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe ate at the bar. Nick, the bartender, was very accommodating! Such a pleasant person. He helped us decide what to order, was always there when we needed him, but never hovered over us. Such a wonderful person. His partner was very kind and accommodating also. We went for our anniversary and could not have asked for a more special evening. It was a night to remember.More infoThe Mooring RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Newport•4.7
- DDavevipGreater Boston •57 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoHave to admit, 1st time back since Trio closed down and was glad to see a few familiar faces, Colleen of course and Aiden too. While we’ll never forget the Trio meatballs and the Bada Bing pizza, the new menu is great. The Celeste salad was incredible and the Spicy Calabrese pizza was superb, (great crust.) Aiden was our server and was very attentive without being intrusive and with his personality made our evening even better. The high top chairs are very comfortable and we loved what you did with the renovation! We will be back.More infoCelestePrice: Moderate• undefined• Narragansett•4.7
- JJohnNew York City •13 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe hadn't been to Trattoria Romana in quite a few years, and having had a wonderful meal last night, wonder why. We don't usually go out to dinner - preferring lunch instead - but were in the area and decided to try the restaurant again. The ambience is great - we were seated in the room away from the bar, with wood paneling. Service was excellent, and the menu larger than any other Italian restaurant we've been to in Rhode Island. We tried an appetizer that was different from any we've had before - cheese wrapped in prosciutto, then sauteed, accompanied by salad greens, artichokes, peppers, and olives. Delizioso! We both opted for a seafood main course (though the pasta dishes all looked wonderful) and enjoyed the Shrimp Alio Olio as well as the Shrimp and Scallops in a tomato, cognac, and cream sauce. My husband and I rarely eat the pasta, but we sopped up every last bit with the delicious sauces. Bread was served, which is rare these days. The wine list and cocktail menu were substantial and we both found drinks that we enjoyed. Our entire meal was outstanding, and we'll definitely be back!More infoTrattoria Romana In WakefieldPrice: Moderate• Italian• South Kingstown•4.8
- PphilipGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined on 10 Nov 2024We had a great dining experience at the David Burke Steak Restaurant at Foxwoods and saw that there was another David Burke related location closer to our home in Portsmouth. We found this restaurant in Richmond at The Preserve off rt 138. We made our reservation for our first visit to this location. We were surprised and a bit confused when we came upon a guard shack with gates. The very friendly security person came out and ask us what and where we were going, I told him we have reservation at Double Barrell Steak for brunch... He welcomed us to the Preserve, explained a few things about the property and directed us to the restaurant. We were amazed at what we saw while slowly driving through the property and finally getting to our destination. We were directed to the second floor and greeted by the hostess who directed us to our table. Definitely a David Burke style of dining experience and décor!! Food choice was delicious and plentiful!! We spoke with both the property director and our waitress, both very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!!More infoDouble Barrel SteakPrice: Very Expensive• American• Richmond•4.7
