Evan was our waiter, and he did an effortlessly phenomenal job -- including recommending a Willamette Valley Pinot that I can't remember because I'm old. 🤔 Jason bussed our table, and while you usually don't really take note of the busboy (apologies to busboys everywhere), Jason not only did a remarkably conscientious job, but he was also very personable AND reminded us, at each visit to the table, to let him know if we needed anything. I've never had a busboy do anything beyond quietly remove the dishes. Jason was as terrific as a busboy can possibly be. And then there's the food. We each had an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert; each course was better than the last, and they started off EXCELLENT -- which means, by the time we got to the desserts, they were simply to die for! We shared all three of the desserts among us, and we couldn't decide which one we liked the best. The birthday girl says, "All three of them were AMAZING." She's right. The restaurant, itself, is pretty basic -- but that's the only thing about The Conche that's 'basic.' This was our first time here, and we absolutely loved it. The Conche is a bit of a drive for us, but totally worth it, and we will definitely be back. The Conche came to us on a recommendation, and the recommendation included, "Do NOT miss their desserts." That was an excellent piece of advice -- if you've never been to The Conche, go in with the expectation that, no matter what happens (fire, flood, brimstone, earthquake, whatever), YOU ARE HAVING DESSERT. Take it to go if you have to -- but do not miss it. Oh, and make a reservation, especially if it's a Saturday evening. Otherwise you might end up having dinner at the Italian joint next door. 😉 Enjoy The Conche. You will not regret it (unless you miss dessert).More infoThe ConchePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Leesburg•4.8
- PPeterWashington, D.C. Area •53 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe like Tuscarora Mill as a special occasion restaurant. The food is always good and the service is attentive and well-paced. The corn chowder, blackened fish tacos, and bread pudding dessert were our favorites this time.More infoTuscarora MillPrice: Expensive• American• Leesburg•4.8

- EEveVIPWashington, D.C. Area •28 reviews5.0Dined on 4 Jan 2025The food was fresh and delicious. One guest needed a gluten-free lunch. The tuna was marinated in soy which contains wheat. If they used tamari instead it would be GF.More infoFirebirds Wood Fired Grill - LeesburgPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Leesburg•4.5
