Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande. Kye has taken the reigns from his father and is now the front man for the 8,000 square foot establishment in Clayton. Café Napoli and Bar Napoli have recently undergone a face lift inside and out. Inside the kitchen, Executive Chef from Napoli2 Jon Berger was recently added to the team, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the regional Italian specialties.

Initially I was reluctant to go here since it is a hotel restaurant but the weather was not good so we went. Good choice! My wife got the burrata caprese salad and I had mushroom and black truffle soup. The caprese was delicate and the soup was rich and perfectly prepared. For main courses my wife had la classics lasagna napoletana, which was firm and deeply meaty, quite delicious. I had the tagliatelle don Alfronso, which was to die for. The sauce with their home grown tomatoes was exquisitely sweet and the home made pasta perfect. I’m of Italian ancestry and have been eating Italian food my whole life and I cannot recall something this delicious, even when we’ve been in Sorrento. The service was attentive and helpful and the owner interested in our thoughts. Highly recommended.

If you’re looking for impeccable service paired with an unforgettable dining experience, Nate at 801 Chophouse is the person you need. Our recent visit was elevated to a whole new level of excellence thanks to his professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine warmth. We booked the private room to enjoy a night of fine dining while watching WWE—an unconventional pairing that could have been challenging for most servers, but not for Nate. He seamlessly balanced the sophistication of the restaurant with the casual excitement of our group, ensuring every aspect of the experience was flawless. From the moment we sat down, Nate set the tone with his extensive knowledge of the menu and wine list. His recommendation of the Delmonico steak was spot-on—perfectly cooked, rich, and incredibly flavorful. It was the star of the meal. And when it came to the wine, Nate’s pairing suggestions elevated the steak even further, showing his expertise and keen understanding of how to enhance every bite. Nate’s timing was impeccable—our drinks were refilled before we even had to ask, courses arrived without a hitch, and he maintained a perfect balance of attentiveness and discretion, allowing us to fully enjoy both the meal and the entertainment. It’s rare to find a server who not only meets but exceeds every expectation, creating a dining experience you’ll want to relive. Nate is that rare find, and 801 Chophouse is lucky to have him. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want to treat yourself to a night of luxury, make sure you ask for Nate. And don’t miss out on the Delmonico steak—it’s an absolute must!

I thought the menu was a little confusing. I thought the meals came with 2 sides and it didn't, we paid for everything separate, which turned out to be far more expensive. It needs to be clearer.
