- JJeffreyOrange County •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had our family Christmas Dinner here this year & managed to get a private room upstairs. Evan was fantastic taking care of our family. This was a second trip for the week as we celebrated a birthday dinner at FC on Wednesday as well. A disappointment that we were not able to get the Christmas goose on Saturday as we were told it would be available since we missed it on Wednesday...my wife's favorite. I'm not sure if the kitchen was short staffed, overwhelmed, or there was new people, but many of the dishes at our table were not cooked as requested. Both the duck & ribeye were overcooked..& we hate to send back knowing it will be thrown out. The fingerling potatoes were also quite undercooked. It won't dampen our enthusiasm for return visits, but a bit of a bummer for our family Christmas dinner.More infoFive CrownsPrice: Expensive• American• Corona del Mar•4.6

The Butternut Squash Soup was reportedly meh. Desserts a bit disappointing today (not usually) — can’t recommend the berry sorbet (odd-tasting), and the Vanilla Pot de crème was a bit bland according to the friend who had the soup. Our waiter was like a warm hug, the kind of server you look forward to his check-ins!More infoFarmhouse at Rogers GardensPrice: Expensive• American• Corona del Mar•4.8

We have been loyal clients of this restaurant for over 20 years, and it continues to exceed our expectations every single time. This place is truly exceptional! From the moment we walk in, the service—from the servers, bartenders, runners, hostesses, and managers—is always impeccable. Every staff member goes above and beyond to ensure a delightful and seamless dining experience. The food is simply outstanding—every dish is thoughtfully prepared, bursting with flavor, and consistently delicious. The wine selection is equally impressive, perfectly complementing the meal and elevating the overall experience. This restaurant is also connected to Five Crowns, located just inside the side door—a wonderful addition to their exceptional offerings. Rose, the General Manager, is in a league of her own! Her exceptional leadership, personal attention, and dedication to excellence make this restaurant stand out from all others in town. She is, without a doubt, the best manager we've ever encountered, and she always ensures that every visit feels extra special. This restaurant is a true gem, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable culinary experience. It’s been our favorite for more than two decades, and it never disappoints. Always the best—can’t wait to return!More infoSideDoorPrice: Very Expensive• American• Corona del Mar•4.7

It was her first visit.. I appreciate that the restaurant has different seating areas that you can try out and decide which is best. Food was amazing. Scallops and Chilean Sea bass wee cooked to perfection. My son’s medium + rib eye was right on point. We both wish they would offer the Porter house option. Their cookies and cream gelato cake was a perfect ending. I believe our waitress had too many tables, therefore it wasn’t the service level i experienced on my first visit. definitely the best seafood and steakhouse. I believe in Orange County.More infoOcean 48 - NewportPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Newport Beach•4.9
