- JJonathanOxford/Oxfordshire •8 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoLovely table. Fish soup and kidneys very nice - fish soup could have been a little thinner and kidneys a little more tender. Main course Sole and lamb both very nice. Lamb dish served a bit cold but quickly resolved with a salamander heat up. An unexpected glass of wine given with No1’s apologies. Appreciated. Fabulous crème brûlée! Lovely ambience and service. Will be back again ! Thank you No1.More infoNo1 Ship StreetPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Oxford•4.7
- PPaulOxford/Oxfordshire •10 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoAs always a very pleasant experience, I liked the choices on the fixed menu, I would have loved my favourite oysters but at £4.10 each I decided against! Staff friendly and helpful as usual.More infoQuod Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• European• Oxford•4.6
- DDarrylVIPKent •24 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoExcellent experience as ever at this lovely restaurant. Busy and lively atmosphere as we were greeted on arrival and offered good choice of tables. Prompt, friendly and helpful service throughout. My grilled octopus starter was exceptionally good and our main fish dishes - monkfish and the daily halibut special - were both delicious. Not cheap but good value. Definitely worth a visit.More infoGeesPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Oxford•4.5
- BbusiOxford/Oxfordshire •4 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoAmazing 5⭐️service indeed. I was served by a young lady whom was so patience as I waited for my friend, (12h00)She kept on reassuring me that it’s okay to wait and I shouldn’t worry. (2 black ladies) She also made a comment that she didn’t know it was so relevant to me at the time. I lost my brother in December 2024, another one in 2023 totalling my lost siblings to 5! So, she said to me, ‘just relax and spend this time to enjoy yourself’ This was so profound as I had not gotten those simple words that yet meant so much to me. The Asian Floor manager was very attentive also. Thank you The Ivy Team.More infoThe Ivy Oxford BrasseriePrice: Moderate• Contemporary British• Oxford•4.5
- LLauraOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review5.0Dined on 10 Feb 2025We were celebrating our daughter's birthday (as we do every year at S&S). Staff were attentive and everything was explained well. The food was beautifully presented, as always and arrived freshly made for us. The staff then gave my daughter a little birthday cake with candle which was a touching thought. Thank you for helping us keep the tradition alive! Being a Monday Evening it wad a little quiet but the staff had arranged diners well to give the illusion of a busier dining experience.More infoSticks'n'Sushi - OxfordPrice: Expensive• Sushi• Oxford•4.7
