The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59.     The set menu has been extended, the menu has just a few dishes with a varied selection. The variety allows enough choice to visit numerous times and have a different menu choice each time. Customer service is excellent because the staff are friendly, knowledgeable on the menu and want to please - thank you - glad there is no sweet trolly. A personal reference to our host 👍

    Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome, food reasonably priced and the availability of a drink of tea or coffee and mini dessert most welcome as I couldn’t manage a full dessert. Will certainly go there again.

    I love this Restaurant, the staff are amazing and so attentive. The food here is delicious and well priced. It’s also great to see a good selection of Vegetarian options as believe me we get rather bored of veg pastas and nut roasts.
