- KKevinSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe place, like so many of its peers, is loud though my wife and I were able to have a clear conversation. The food was excellent. Our server was fairly attentive. When we asked that someone clean the tablecloth after the meal and before the dessert, the server seemed surprised but gamely wiped the crumbs into his hand. This is a real peeve of mine: On r upon a time, in good restaurants like Ladera, the server or a colleague would clean the tablecloth. Only once in the last decade or so has this happened anywhere in Silicon Valley—and that was recently at Meyhouse in Sunnyvale.More infoLadera Grill - Morgan HillPrice: Expensive• Steak• Morgan Hill•4.6

- AAlanaSan Francisco Bay Area •18 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOne of the best meals I’ve ever had. My friend and I were in town hiking pinnacles for the weekend from San Mateo. First of all, our server was Julie, and she was so sweet and attentive! We felt like we were visiting someone’s home. We ordered the “famous” calamari, and it was SO GOOD. My friend had tortilla soup and I had a Caesar salad for starters, and both were fresh and delicious. Then, she had the skirt steak, and me the chicken genovese. OMG. We were actually upset that we didn’t have more room for another round of calamari or dessert! All in all, if we lived closer, we would be back often. For now, we’ll just work on planning our next trip back!!More infoInn at Tres PinosPrice: Expensive• Continental• Hollister•4.8
- BBrittanyVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe expected a posh ambiance from pictures but were so pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. The appetizers were just heavenly and the pasta buttery and amazing. The service was also top notch. We will be back with our friends.More infoEos & NyxPrice: Expensive• Californian• San Jose•4.5
- MMartyCalifornia Central Coast •6 reviews5.0Dined on 15 Feb 2025Made a reservation for Valentine’s date night. First visit to 36 Degrees North. Had a 630 reservation and we were seated promptly at a two top along the wall. Would recommend requesting window seats for a better golf course view. We ordered the Brushetta to start and Beet salads. The Brushetta was wonderful as was the salad. Both presented nicely. We both ordered the bacon wrapped filet. I ordered my filet medium as did my wife. My order arrived medium rare, but I’m not the type to make a stink. While it was a little more rare than I like, the flavor was wonderful. I was not a huge fan of the crab that comes with the steak as to me the flavors didn’t gel well and the crab flavor took away from the richness of the meats flavor. We ended the meal with the bread pudding which was wonderful. Servers also brought bread and butter, which my wife felt was a little hard. Overall this was a wonderful first visit and we will definitely return.More info36 Degrees North at San Juan Oaks Golf ClubPrice: Expensive• Californian• Hollister•4.7
