Second visit to Bookbinders in Richmond (although we live 100 miles away). The food is outstanding. Best filet I’ve ever had without exception. Our waiter, Timothy, is a perfect example of the professionalism one expects in a fine restaurant. He made the experience thoroughly enjoyable and memorable. We’ll be back!

I’ll try to avoid exaggeration here but I may have just had the best meal of my life. I had the special which was shrimp and sausage with orecchiette pasta and it was so good. I mean just really really incredible. My dinner partner had the famous 5 which is basically their spaghetti. It was the best spaghetti I have ever tasted and I’ve had plenty. The service was incredible. The entire meal took about 40 minutes from the time we sat down and we had an appetizer as well. The value is great considering we have leftovers for 3 more days and that is not hyperbole. This is the best restaurant for the money in richmond Virginia. Of that I have no doubt.

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our 5 year anniversary, they gave us a personalized handwritten note telling us happy anniversary that was so sweet!!! Service was great, everything came out fast, and the food was great as well! We will be back!

We dined in on the senior menu. The Senior Menu and meal were outstanding. The steak was cooked to perfection, the pear and pecan salad was fresh and very tasty, shared a cream spinach as a side and a crème brûlée for dessert. The restaurant is charming, our server was fantastic and friendly, and the noise level was minimal. If you haven’t tried Perry Steakhouse at Short Pump, you need to treat yourself to an excellent dining experience!
