A wonderful experience with exemplary service and the most delicious meals. An amazing restaurant worth every cent.

The changes to this establishment since we were last here are excellent. We believe there is new ownership/management? The menu is concise, the food is very good and thankfully not too large solid servings usually associated with pub food. This is much better fare. The wine list is also rather lovely with some fine regional offerings. New Year’s Day, a potentially busy day, was perhaps not the day to evaluate service which seemed a little distracted at times. However all personnel encountered were lovely and helpful. We will certainly return when next in Daylesford.

We always head to Highlands Hotel every New Year’s Day . The staff are friendly and professional. The atmosphere and food was fantastic. Thank you for a great start to 2025 .

Beautiful venue, kitsch and quirky on the outside, elegant relaxed contemporary style inside. Staff were friendly, attentive, and very helpful. We loved that most dishes were small and for sharing, so we could try most items on the menu, and the food and drinks were lovely. We would definitely come back here!
