Restaurants near Marina Village Shopping Center

We reserved for 3pm on Thanksgiving day. The Chart House offered a varied three Course meal for $69-$78. Excellent large portion of calamari to start while we sipped our Aperol Spritzes at the beautiful window table. Generous Caesar salads followed by grilled sea bass, surf and turf and truffle crusted Mahi as our main choices - finished off with various tasty pies for dessert. We had fantastic service and were glad we’d joined the many patrons who were there!

We always look forward to a meal at the Sardine Factory. The Monterey Bay sardine appetizer was the star of the show. We loved the pass by suggestion of the sommelier to "spread the egarlic on the toast". It really enhanced the dish. The wine she recommended was fantastic as well. My wife's miso butterfish was spectacular. The sandabs was a well constructed dish but the "lighted breaded" dish dragged the whole thing down for me. The breading made it very heavy and a slog. But hey, I could have just made a bad pick. We will be back for sure! Thanks again!

Our dining experience at Schooners was exceptional. The food was fabulous, the service friendly, and we were made to feel valued. There are many excellent restaurants in Monterey and Schooners is among my favorites.

I've been telling people about Saltwood all day... We got there late because there was a traffic tie-up but they could still seat us at a nice table. First off I enjoyed washing my hands with the salt scrub they provide in the restroom. Then we ordered cocktails from their menu.. both were excellent. Our friends arrived and chose the $18 burger special with fries and their choice of beer. We ordered chilled oysters for $3 each but large, served with two different sauces. I ordered a bowl of clam chowder, which was super creamy and delicious, with big chunks of clam throughout. It was probably the best I can remember having, though I'll need to go back to Fisherman's Grotto to compare. The Grotto offers 6 oysters for $16, which is another reason to go back there. Overall I highly recommend Saltwood (parking is way better here than Fisherman's Wharf but requires a drive to Marina.) There's no view to speak of but the decor is fresh and uplifting. The servers are very thoughtful and we will definitely be back.

Our food was just delicious and amazing! The scallops were so fresh and prepared just perfect! My sons stripped bass was very flavorful and he loved the fava beans that were with the dish! This is an outstanding seafood restaurant and I would highly recommend it to both visitors and people who live here! And for dessert I had their chocolate sorbet which was so creamy and rich tasting., not to mention since it was my birthday we had some yummy french champagne that all three of us enjoyed.. and it did not come with a high price tag so my husband was happy also.,
