Since we opened this camp 25 years ago, we have focused upon fresh foods for our guests. We know it is difficult to find good meals on the road, especially if you are vegan and vegetarian, and invite you to join us.You will smell the foods before you walk in, but will see entree's like baby back pork ribs, samosas, ribeye steaks, moussaka, vegan ramen and steamed saffron mussels through our open kitchen. We make easy to assemble fresh bag lunches for the trail, and specialty lunch items for indoor and outdoor dining. Beside items like American breakfast and breakfast burritos you will find signature items like our California breakfast too! All this from fresh, mainly regional sourced, sustainable and some organic healthy foodstuffs. We invite you to peek into some online reviews in advance. Our breakfast and lunch menus rarely change, however our limited dinner menu does change nightly. This restaurant is family style dining. Accessible restroom, parking and ramp to Cafe.

The place is beautiful and we enjoyed our dinner immensely. A buffet is currently due to reconstruction of the hotels facilities but the reduced menu in no way reduced our experience. The Prime Rib was cooked perfectly and the abundance of raw horseradish I took full advantage of. The restaurant's setting blends both a classic style with Native American flair to afford an ambiance unmatched in any prior mountain lodge I've experienced. Our waitress, much like the live piano play in the background, was professional; attentive; friendly and managed being available without being obtrusive. We had a marvelous evening.

We often seek out restaurants owned by Top Chef contestants and winners during our travels, so we’ve had the privilege of enjoying some incredible meals. It’s no exaggeration to say that the food at the Mountain Room is on par with those high-caliber establishments. The trout, in particular, was outstanding—beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. If you’re visiting, don’t miss it!

The June Bug Cafe has great food at a reasonable price in a grown-up camp atmosphere which is fitting, as the whole Yosemite Bug feels like a really cool, funky summer camp in the woods, for all ages. Big portions, well made, fresh meals. We stayed at a different hotel recently and, after a disappointing breakfast at that hotel, drove to the June Bug for a great, satisfying breakfast the next morning.
