Restaurants near Marsh Grandstand

I have never had anything bad at St Elmo's and tonight was no different. The food and service were absolutely amazing. The waitress was wonderful! I had the ribeye with horseradish gorgonzola butter and it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The only thing that could be slightly different was the room temp. It was very chilly and cold air kept blowing on us (it was na inside room with no outside door, so I think AC was on). However, it did not detract from the amazingness of the experience tonight.

Ben was amazing. He made our dinner a very pleasing and personal experience. Ben was great with food allergies and took care of us well. Our table was great and holiday decorations looked great. The only negative was it took a bit longer than expected for our entrees to come out, and the restaurant was not crowded. Overall, very good experience and we will come back.

Dining at RH was a very enjoyable experience. From the moment you turn onto the private drive and make your way towards the beautifully restored home, you feel that you are going to see something special. The dining area was about 3/4 capacity when we arrived but it wasn’t loud. Everyone was able to enjoy their own private conversations at normal speaking voices. Ambient music played in the background to help add some white noise. The servers were very attentive and worked together to keep our glasses filled and table cleared. The food was excellent. We started with the crispy artichokes and were given plenty of time to enjoy it before our entrees arrived. I ordered the charred ribeye while my wife ordered the branzino. My steak was perfectly to my liking as was my wife’s fish and we shared the potato puree. We enjoyed a couple of coffees afterwards and wished we had an earlier reservation to walk the gallery. We plan to come for lunch next time to do just that.

The vibe there is very cool. We started with the biscuits which were amazing. The fried chicken is spot on and the shrimp and grits are a must if you like that dish. We sat in the bar and the bartender was attentive and made one heck of an Old Fashion. We’ll be back.

Josh W was amazing and made our anniversary celebration delightful and fun. The Christmas decorations made it feel festive and the manager also came to confirm and discuss allergy concerns which needed to be addressed. Great experience and will definitely visit again.
