- JJudithSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThis is one legendary restaurant that lives up to its legend. The food is out of this world. The service is brilliant. The room with a view is spectacular and the room in the lounge is cozy. This is a go-to place for special occasions. Thank you to Jackie, Jeannie and the whole staff who greeted us and our special guest so warmly.More infoThe Pink DoorPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Belltown / Pike Place Market•4.8
- EEmmaDenver / Colorado •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoThis place is incredible - everyone must go! Every single member of the staff who I passed upon entry welcomed me in warmly. I was a little early for my reservation and enjoyed a drink at the bar with the super kind and knowledgeable bartender. Someone came and got me when it was time for the omakase experience, moved me to my place setting at the quaint counter seamlessly, carrying my beverage for me. I inquired about tip as I did not want the bartender to miss out and was informed they operate with a tip pool. I was solo and was seated next to another solo diner and we had wonderful conversation and got to enjoy the experience together. The chefs were so kind and talented, each bite was incredible and made with such high quality ingredients. As a former fine dining server and restaurant manager I was in love and blown away by the service. I could tell everyone who took care of me was happy to be there, and that means a lot when you shell out for this kind of thing. It felt warm and luxurious the entire time. My plate and place setting were crumbed/wiped down as necessary, every item was described in detail, I could go on and on. I am SO happy I found this place and had this experience. - CCaroleNew Orleans / Louisiana •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoThe food, as always, was wonderful. My o Lu complaint is the timing of the food coming out of the kitchen. Everything came at the same time! We ordered pita and spreads. We thought those would come first and we could enjoy them with our first glass of wine. As it was - everything arrived together. Not ideal. We ordered espresso with our dessert. It came and then we waited and waited for dessert. Espresso was cold by the time it came out. They could work on their timing!More infoLola SeattlePrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Downtown•4.7
- OTOpenTable DinerSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review4.0Dined on 11 Nov 2024Always great to hit a reliable lunch spot. Don't come for a quiet or business lunch, its loud and active. but food is great and quick to come out. All 3 people in my party were pleased with what we had.More infoBen ParisPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.4
- JJeffSeattle / Eastern Washington •6 reviews5.0Dined on 8 Nov 2024Four of us - all with refined pallets - at dinner at Andaluca the first week of November 2024. We were among the first guests seated, and we stayed almost four hours during which time the restaurant crowd waxed and waned. The service was attentive but NOT hovering, and we were clearly NOT pushed to leave after we finished our dessert. The convenient location of the restaurant and the availability of valet parking made meeting at the restaurant convenient. We tried two starters, one simple - marinated olives, which were fine - and one complex, roasted eggplant with harissa, pine nuts and sundried tomatoes, which was wonderful. The dish was surprisingly generous for the price, and the flavors were wonderful - not too hot but not too bland. The combination, especially the texture of the pine nuts, was quite salubrious. We shared two first courses - the citrus and beet salad, which was much enjoyed by those who don't think beets taste like dirt. The burrata was flavorful (and the serving quite generous), and the green pesto and pickled onions were a surprising but effective accompaniment. We had four different entrees. I had the to-die-for lamb chops - three of them carefully roasted on the bone with char on the outside but medium rare at the center. They were served over roasted greens, hummus-yoghurt and tiny oven roasted pieces of squash (?). I would return for this dish alone. My partners had the salmon - excellently seasoned and prepared - the boneless chicken breast with preserved lemon - which quickly disappeared - and another main course that eludes my aging memory. While none of these were inexpensive, the servings were large, the ingredient quality was high, and the preparation was nearly perfect. The dessert list was short but thoughtful. The ambience of the restaurant - all booths (?) - is muted and reasonably quiet. The staff moves about quietly and with deliberation, slipping in to refill beverages or to remove plates, but not lingering.More infoAndalucaPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Downtown•4.7
