MUA is known for its open atmosphere, eclectic décor, art events and, of course, its delicious food. Family owned and run Mua was one of the first restaurants to open in what was then Auto Row in Oakland, in 2008.     The service is exceptional. I would have given it five stars, but the flickering lighting detracted from the experience. BBQ Shrimp was like you were in New Orleans, so Yummy. The black cod was amazing. The greens had the right amount of vinegar to heat and were very flavorful. My cousin and I had never tried goose, so we ordered it. While it was good, it was our least favorite. However, the pot pie that came with it was excellent. The cocktails and wine were great. I would go back again.

    This was our second time at Commis we sat the bar and had the pre fix with wine pairing! It was amazingly delicious and the service as always was excellent. We enjoyed trying the new items on the menu and some old favorites. If you are looking for a unique dinning experience look no further.

    Mua was a compmete surprise! Suggested by Open Table, the space is captivating, lively and great food. We had softshell crab, chicken milanese, burrata with grilled veggies in a very good sweet balsamic. Champagne then tea and two excelkent desserts, chocolate pecan pie with ice cream and breadpudding with cremey anglese.Very good value smart food with interesting people.
