Set in 22 acres of stunning parkland Paris House is located on the Duke of Bedford's Estate in Woburn. Paris House blends modern culinary techniques with traditional foods to create a 6 course tasting menu. Paris House was originally built in 1878 in Paris. At the end of the 19th Century the timber framed building was dismantled and shipped piece by piece to its current home in the stunning grounds of Woburn Park. In January 2014 Paris House was bought by the businesses’ award winning Executive Chef Phil Fanning. My wife and I dined at The White Lion yesterday and very much enjoyed the meal there and felt very welcome by the staff. I seem to recall that under the previous management, prices on the menu were a bit high for our liking, but now they seem more reasonable and this time we certainly got value for our money !

Staff are very helpful and always very courteous. It was my husbands birthday and on hearing they played happy birthday and presented him with a slice of chocolate cake at the end of the meal. We always choose this restaurant for our celebrations.
