Our server Ian was friendly and so accommodating First time for lunch and it was so nice a chill and reuniting with my college friend

The Culver Hotel has changed and improved their afternoon tea menu. There were pleasant little surprises in the food that I wasn't expecting---a little herbal note here, a little floral accent there (don't want to spoil the surprises), and voila! the food was tasty with interesting little twists. The tea selection was decent (about half a dozen or so) and the quantity was definitely sufficient for a full meal. The ambience was relaxing, not too busy when we were there, so not too noisy. Service is definitely acceptable, not quite white glove, but perfectly passable. And, given its location on the Westside, the price point is reasonable. A nice little hideaway amidst the bustling downtown Culver city. I will be back.

FYI - I book most of my busisness meeting at Public School in Culver City , and sometimes other locations. Public School restaurant is a 100% perfect place to invite coleagues, talk about work, engage new business, discuss business and politics while having great food & drinks in a friendly atmosphere... This is a more intimate gastropub on the inside, with outside seating available. The service was excellent, and the food was good to great. We enjoyed the tempura-battered shrimp and fish and chips, and we plan on coming back for vegan shepherd's pie. There is a good bar menu and happy hour as well.
