Restaurants near Meeting House Hill Historic District

We had a great meal. It's a little pricey but worth every penny. Our server, Danny, made the experience that much better. He was just awesome! It's definitely a special occasion place!

Sat in the loft area, which is our favorite section because it is much quieter & a cozy corner. Food was excellent as always. I had the seafood pasta, which had a generous amount of seafood & a light sauce. My husband had steak which was large & cooked just how he liked it. Service was excellent! Been here several times & will be back again because everything is consistently good!

3rd time at The Essex. Food quality is top shelf. Eat at the bar and enjoy one of the best burgers you will ever have!

Five stars is not enough for this place, Great experience with fantastic food and service. Will be going back soon. I recommend the Salmon or the Gorgonzola filet.
