Restaurants near Middle Mountain Cabins

Amazing restaurant perfect for our anniversary! We split a steak added lobster tails, and had a side of brussels sprouts that were delightful! All the food was incredible and so was the atmosphere!

Chilean sea bass was recommended by locals and was extraordinary! Scallop appetizers was delicious. Will come again.

Menu, atmosphere, and staff were great! Javi was our server and he is quite entertaining. When you go thru the main entrance at Mountain Lodge, take the elevator down to floor ‘CC.’ Turn left off the elevator, pass the stairs, and go thru the door.

Took my mom to the Joshua Wilton House for her 60th birthday. It was the first time either of us had eaten here. All food was delicious! We had the roasted duck breast and the pan seared scallops. The duck was tender, and the scallops were made in a yummy cream sauce. The desserts were excellent as well. Our waitress was kind and attentive. The house was still decorated for Christmas, which gave it a nice ambience. We’d definitely eat there again!

Another great meal yesterday evening at the Oxley House in Elkins West Virginia. Both the Appalachian Burgoo and Pork Chop were great. Cudos to the chef and kitchen staff. Dining at the Oxley House is becoming a weekly event for us.
