What a find! First time here ..found searching internet everything was perfect from ambiance to food to outstanding service from long time waitress Lisa. Had the Kansas Strip on recommendation from Lisa. Partner had filet mignon Sides of cream corn to die for Back potato and fixings’ perfect Took advantage of Monday special 25% bottle of Silver Oak..(if under $100 get 50% off!) Everyone is professional as can be from Lisa our server to food runner to buser.. We will be back ..delightful

I came for a brunch. I was going to order crab cakes Benedict. I asked about the crab cakes and whether they are pure crab. The response was that they were almost half bread. I ordered the short ribbon hash and vegetables. The hash had very little short ribs, and other than potatoes, I saw almost no vegetables. I was very disappointed.

Overall the food was good, we ordered the porterhouse for 2, ribeye, & salmon. The only thing that was lack luster was the service. Our waiter left without saying anything and we were waiting for the check for about 30 minutes. Finally another waiter noticed we were waiting to leave and helped cash us out.

I Live out of state and drove an hour to enjoy this experience. In the town that I live, there are five Jamaican restaurants but nothing with the nice sit down atmosphere that long got miss Penny has. I’ve been twice and plan to continue supporting this business so that it can do well. I was glad to attend the ribbon-cutting, and although the place was packed, and the service was slower, the seven people I brought enjoyed the experience and the food. I plan to continue supporting this business.
