Restaurants near Molokini

We were here a couple of weeks ago and came back 2 nights in a row for more great dinners. Excellent service (Angela, Jerry, Daniel) and food, 2 nights in a row. We live on Maui and having a great staycation at Four Seasons Wailea. Hostesses Rachel and Abeer helpful and friendly. Manager Brianna delightful. We loved everything, not a single complaint. Great olive caponata amuse bouche/starter. The Festa menu is an excellent opportunity to try a variety of dishes. Calamari Fritti, Insalata Tricolore, Caprese Invernale, Pastas (with clams/Vongole; Tagliatelle Bolognese); Wagyu Bistecca with spuma, oyster mushrooms brocollini, smoked ricotta carrots. Excellent creative lemon yuzu dessert reminded us pleasantly of our many trips to Capri and the Amalfi Coast.

Four of us had dinner at Duo which we enjoy each time we visit. We live on Maui half time and this is a treat for us. Last night did not disappoint! Everything was outstanding from beginning to end, from the hostess who seated us, to the man who poured our water, to our delightful, friendly, knowledgeable waitperson Cooper. We started with tasty cocktails and it dozen oysters from Washington State.  My 96-year-old father enjoyed the monchong (local fish) and the other three of us had steak. About halfway through dinner, my niece said "I think this might be the best meal I've ever had!"  it was a beautiful evening and The Four Seasons is such an outstanding setting. There are a couple of other Maui steakhouses nearby, but in my opinion, Duo outshines them all!

I brought my granddaughter there for her birthday! She picked it! She absolutely loved it and the food! She said Grammy it’s so beautiful here, I want to get married here! She is a local girl here and this could be the place! Her dad’s Grandparents used to own the whole Makena strip at one time way back in the day. So this would be pretty special! Mind you she is turning 7 years old. She loved Shannon, and she was so happy Shannon brought her more cherries. She only likes the juice from them. Thank you for making this a memorable night! She went home and shared w her mom n Dad, she was so happy!!

Absolutely delicious dinner from start to finish and the service was top notch. One of our best meals on Maui!
