We had a delightful evening at Porch and Parlor! Blake, our server, was truly exceptional—attentive to every detail, consistently keeping our table free of dirty dishes. He was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also friendly and engaging, which added to the experience. The food was outstanding; the chicken was incredibly moist, and the sides we chose—lobster mac and cheese and loaded au gratin potatoes—were absolutely delicious. It was a perfect date night, and we can’t wait to return!

Don’t let the location above BB King’s blues bar fool you into thinking that this is anything other than a top notch gem of a restaurant right on Beale St. It feels elegant and comfortable at once. Lovely, romantic blue lit windows. Pleasant live piano music (maybe slightly prominent, but I enjoyed it). Intimate small dining rooms are available- I assume for an up charge. The larger of these rooms overlooks Blues City Cafe. The Cajun pasta was blissful. The jumbo shrimp were perfectly cooked and amazingly fresh tasting. My date had the lamb chops and left no meat on the bones. :-). Flight is one of my Memphis favorites, but Itta Bena is right there with it. Love it!

Eating at Flight is always a treat. The food is exceptional and the variety is always appealing. It is also our first choice for special occasions. The service is top notch and the location, in the heart of downtown, is fun.

When I noticed that the River Terrace had re-opened, I was excited to try it when I was going to be in Memphis for Christmas. I was thrilled that I could get a table on Dec 26, to celebrate my 60th birthday. The last time I dined at the restaurant was in December of 1999, for New Year's Eve. Prior, I was part of the original staff that opened the restaurant in 1982. It was great to see the place re-modeled, re-furbished, and thriving. The view is among the very best in the city. The food was excellent. I had the Blacked Catfish...WOW! The service was very good. I had a nice conversation with the manager and shared a few memories about the old place. I highly recommend Mahagony River Terrace.

It was our first time there and it was absolutely great!!! Our waiter, Caleb, was wonderful and very attentive. The food was spectacular!!! We’ll definitely recommend it to friends and hope to return in the future!!! It was most definitely worth the money.
