Restaurants near Mount Carmel Park

Our server wasn’t great but the food was phenomenal. Pretzels were delicious and the loaded skins were very tasty. The chicken sandwich tossed in hot honey was very good. The broccoli has a very good flavor. The loaded cheese fries were great to me but my husband thought it was too much. My daughter really enjoyed the salmon and Mac and cheese. My husband said the manhattan was different than any he’s ever had but he really enjoyed it.

Exceptional service-from the entire staff. Reservationist, server (Melissa) and other staff who checked on us frequently throughout our visit. Welcomed us in, and made sure to thank us upon leaving. Food is unique and tasty and beautifully presented. Lovely spot for a special occasion.

We always make an early reservation at Christmas time when everyone is in town. NE is the top of our list and our favorite dining experience.

The beet salad was delicious and enough to share. The green salad also looked nice and fresh. The Walleye was very good but both mine and my husbands were just lukewarm. The lobster pot pie got good, but not great, reviews from our guests (and it should have been great for the price). The twin filets were very good and done perfectly medium rare. The most disappointing thing about the experience was that the salads and entrees all came out together - the exact same time. The waitress said that sometimes happens when the kitchen gets backed up? It should never happen. And we got there at 5:15pm (my dad is 93 so we eat early!) so nothing should have been backed up. We did request sitting upstairs which was a great choice for older people - pretty quiet. Net, a good enough experience that I would go back.
