Restaurants near Mountainside-Homes at Scottsdale with Pool View

Thompson 105 is one of our favorite restaurants. Took visiting friends to dinner for the first time and they loved it. All of the associates are friendly and helpful. Menu is excellent with a great variety of options. Cocktails are made to perfection. Food comes out from the kitchen very quickly.

Loved the food! Loved watching the planes. Highly recommend when visiting and I would come back. We are from Cleveland and live near the airport. As a kid, 1970s, it was a big deal to sit and watch planes in our car. So this was really fun for me.

So the food was amazing. The shirt rib lasagna was simply amazing. So good. The kids spaghetti and meatball was kind of bland, but that could be because it was a kids meal, but, other than that, it was fine. The new menus that look like encyclopedia were kind of bulky but different. I think that they should rethink the Encyclopedia menu type thing. The ambience was just amazing as well. You would never know that it was the old streets of New York restaurant when you walk in. Our server wasn’t the greatest unfortunately, forgot a few things never got bread to the table, took a little while to get and after dinner coffee, we had to remind him a couple times, but he was very friendly. The management staff was very nice. The passing out of Champagne while you’re waiting for your table was kind of nice different that was complementary. Overall, it was a great experience.

Ate dinner outside. The most comfortable chairs ever. Maybe the same indoors, but I have no knowledge of that. Also, a lot quieter, naturally. Our server was extremely helpful. No rushing. The food was great: we had shishito peppers and clams for starters, then the trout and the branzino. My husband liked my branzino better than his trout, just because it was almandine and he felt it an unnecessary coating. Then, great flourless chocolate dessert. Drink were good goo. Would return without a doubt because the menu had so many offerings, it would be great to try them all.

Our large group of 4 adults and 4 children dined before our annual visit to the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park for the holidays. The staff was very attentive and friendly caring for the kids as attentively as the adults. The comfort food is outstanding from shrimp and grits to brisket, everything was well prepared and delicious.
