- PPatrickVIPWashington, D.C. Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis place is a real little gem! The food was great and the quiet location in the loft at the back of the shop was a real surprise. They only seat about 20 people and there’s only one chef doing the cooking so it isn’t a spot for a quick bite. If you’re going to a show at the Music Hall across the street, be sure to tell them up front. Plan extra time for a slow-paced relaxing experience but definitely go. Can’t wait to return.More infoLa Maison NavarrePrice: Moderate• French• Portsmouth•4.9

Hake with lentil sauce was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Oysters were very sweet and briny and chefs choice are $2/each before 7pm. Our server Kate was very knowledgeable and attentive even though it was really busy. She was very pleasant and we enjoyed terrific conversation with her. Only recommendation: bring back the popcorn topping for the butterscotch pudding-didn’t care for the brittle.More infoRow 34 - PortsmouthPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Portsmouth•4.7

After our delicious craft martinis, we chose Swordfish and Salmon this time. Both were cooked to perfection with delicious sides of polenta and Brussel Sprouts and sweet potatoes and asparagus ! Salads were fresh , crunchy and dressed properly with a side of steaming artisan breads. It’s not a birthday without desserts and we chose brûlée cheesecake and carrot cake. A delightful evening made better by the fun vibe Toscana offers. Special shoutout to Christian—- always attentive, personable, and professional. Such a pleasure.More infoToscana Chop HousePrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Portsmouth•4.5
- JJulieLos Angeles •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOur friends and I make excuses to come from the Boston area so we can eat at the Puddle Dock (Usually we see a terrific show across the street at The Players Ring). There is nothing I don't like about this cozy place. The fireplace, the perfect lighting and noise level. Then there is the food. We've never had a bad meal. They have super delicious cocktails as well. I wish they stayed open until 10. It would be nice to go for a cocktail after the show. The service is also top notch. The dark chocolate pudding was so good, I want to sell my house in Boston and move to Portsmouth just so I can be closer to the pudding. Yes, I'm highly food motivated.More infoThe Puddle DockPrice: Expensive• American• Portsmouth•4.8
- DDanielVIPKey West / Florida Keys •9 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI recently had the pleasure of dining at Massimo, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of modern decor and cozy charm. The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations and ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh, and you could really taste the care and expertise that went into every bite. The Duck was a standout— perfectly cooked and packed with vibrant, harmonious flavors. I also appreciated the wide variety of options, catering to both adventurous eaters and those who prefer more familiar choices. Overall, Massimo offers a wonderful dining experience that combines excellent food, top-notch service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I can’t wait to return and try more from their menu! Highly recommended.More infoRistorante MassimoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Portsmouth•4.8
